1st Annual Paxton Sports Centre Wooden Racket Open!   JULY 17th at HIGH NOON , rain make up July 24th. 

Please dress in your finest old school tennis attire, preferably all white clothes (like at Wimbledon)

Some of you may have played with wooden rackets before and some of you may have not, but It is guaranteed to be fun ! If you don't have a wooden racket start hitting yard sales or check e-bay, they are pretty easy to come by. I will find a few extras just in case. The tournament will be held outside, food and drink will be available from the concession stand. Also to prove that you played, Tournament Tee's will be available for purchase (If you have slogan ideas let me know). If you want to bring the kids go right ahead as we have a great outdoor pool and kids area where they can play all kinds of sports and games.

After the Tournament join everyone for beer and wine in the lounge where the winners will be presented with a massive, elaborate, jewel encrusted trophy, plus gift certificates for dinner.

-$30 dollar entry fee per team
-ONLY WOODEN RACKETS, the older the better
-Ages 14-99
-If you don't have a partner we can find you one
-Speed Gun, lets see who has the fastest serve
